Hey!!! So I def mentioned Idol Dreams before back when I first read Volume 1, and I’m still in love with it. For anyone that liked any teen girl drama manga (Like Peach Girl) this is totally the new manga series for you. It’s a good magical girl series for adults. Weeeeellll, not exactly magical girl, but it has that feel to it that I love. For those of you that didn’t catch my post on Idol Dreams volume 1, it’s about a 31 year old woman named Chikage’s realizing she’s never lived and taking a pill to temporarily become a teen again. Wild.
This volume added more backstory to previously mysterious characters and that’s the stuff I live for. But don’t worry, it’s not a baby story. It gets spicy fast.
(But it didn’t get graphic ;_;)
It goes into the feels zone, diving into complicated relationships between characters in main character Chikage’s adult life while she’s trying to manage her teen pop idol life.
Also, new unlikeable characters are introduced, and one of my fav things about girly manga is getting passionately angry about characters I hate (Sae in Peach Girl…)
But best of all, it stays cute and writer Arina Tanemura makes you feel like you’re the main character’s best friend. I love her work in this manga and I gotta’ check out her previous stuff. 
So, in conclusion, 10/10 I love this series so far and I can’t wait until the next one!!~ Sorry this was pretty cryptic but I’m trying not to spoil it for anyone 🙂
