hello, i am ian. i’m going to start doing a little album of the week of whatever i’m really into at the time. this week, i’d like to introduce you to this neato outfit out of boston called Native Construct. they put out a sweet debut album in april called Quiet World, and it is super cool. it’s a concept album about a guy who loves a gal but is a mute so he can’t properly communicate his love to her, so he creates his own fantasy world as a sort of coping method. that’s what i got out of it, but truth be told, the band has said the album’s concept is very open to interperetation. but seriously, if you’re in the mood for some symphonic prog goodness, definitely give this album a spin. trust me, fam. i wouldn’t do you dirty.
