I read this really fucked up Avril Lavigne comic last week. I found both volumes of it in a comic book store and I was like “what the hell”. It was called Avril Lavigne’s Make 5 Wishes. To start off, the art is awful. Awful. I feel like I did better when I was 14. I think it was written/illustrated by a teenager. If you wrote the Avril Lavigne comic and you are reading this ignore me, I’m sorry. You did your best maybe. But anyway, it’s from 2007 so maybe whoever wrote it is doing a lot better now. It’s been like eight years so probably. Anyway, reading it was like reading a fourteen year old’s diary. I have a hard time not getting attached to characters though, so I had to read it until the very end. It was an interesting concept, at least. Girl with an Avril Lavigne imaginary best friend gets five wishes. Cool. Anyway, it turned out to be an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. It had a really fucked up ending. It fucked me up.
